Dear Loyal Patrons
and Friends,
This is
just
to inform
you
that we made
a quick
necessary
decision
to
close our
doors on
Friday,
July
21st
due to
a long
period
of
frustration
and
stress
in
dealing
with my
landlord. Many
of you
may
remember
us not
having
heat in
the
middle
of
winter
from the
onset.
We tried
to
resolve
this
problem
to no
avail. On
December
31st
2005, we
had to
cancel
our New
Year's
Eve
Party.
The
heating problem
plus
many
other
issues
such as
lack of
cooperation
to put
in bar,
impacted
me
financially
to no
return. As with
the
past, I
tried to
resolve
these
issues hoping
for a
renewed
relationship
and keeping
Shacojazz
in
business
due to
money, time,
and efforts
already
invested.
Many of
you who
were
around
when we
started
saw the
damages
done by
the
previous
tenant
who left
very
angry
due to
similar
frustration.
This
should
have
been a
sign but
unfortunately
I
learned
about the
past
history
of this
place
and
landlord much
later.
In
addition,
I like
to
believe
in the
goodness
of the
human
spirit
therefore
thought
our
relationship
could be
better,
especially
that I
put in
everything;
lights,
doors,
toilets, floors
and
more.
In the
end, I
did not
have any
guarantee
that investing
more
precious
time,
money
and
efforts
would be
beneficial
to
interested
investors,
my
family
and
myself.
There is
a time
that one
must cut
their
losses
and we
did. It
is a
great
loss
but we
gained
much:

I am
very sorry
for any
inconvenience
this may
cause
you as
you may
have had
plans or
may be
making
plans to
visit us

enhance my
catering,
entertainment
and
event
planning
services
until a
decision
is made
on our
next
move.
